Each year sees opportunities for pupils to participate in dramatic productions at The Chorister School.  The Pre-School and Pre-Prep pupils present their annual Nativity Play in the Assembly Hall and the Cathedral Chapter House at the end of the Michaelmas Term.  Pupils in Years 3 and 4 present an annual Middle School Drama in the Lent Term, and pupils in the Senior Years participate in the annual play which has in recent years featured Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ staged in the Deanery Garden and Peter Pan featuring the songs and incidental music by Leonard Bernstein.

In addition, groups of pupils have the opportunity to participate in larger projects with external professionals.

In May 2017, a selection of senior Choristers and members of the Galilee Choir were invited to form the chorus for the English Touring Opera’s production of Tosca.
