Pre-School have made porridge and had a bear hunt with our Head of Geography, Mr Smith. Reception have made houses for ‘The Three Little Pigs’ and have written about them.
Year 1 incorporated their learning in History with Design & Technology. The children have loved learning about King Henry VIII this week and designed and created beautiful royal crowns. Year 1 also thoroughly enjoyed French this week. The children were learning about the names of pets and colours in French and then wrote about pets they have or pets they would like to have. The children then recited their work in front of the class.
In PSHE this week, Year 2 used a paint brush, a tomato, a toothbrush and some mirrors to think about dental hygiene. In Mathematics the children have become very successful statisticians, creating and interpreting tally charts, pictograms and block graphs.
The children in Eco Club have now finished their posters and will be using them to spread their Eco friendly messages around School. Keep a look out for them appearing next week!
A huge thank for the generous donations to our Australian Bush Fires Appeal. We have raised a lot of money for the WWF in Australia.
