600th Anniversary: Service of Thanksgiving

600anniversayhomeAt this Service of Thanksgiving current and former pupils, parents, staff and governors will gather to celebrate the life of The Chorister School.  The service will be sung by the combined forces of the Cathedral Choir and The Galilee Choir, accompanied by Prince Bishops Brass and the Cathedral Organ.  A newly composed setting of the Jubilate by Philip Stopford has been commissioned for this service and a new Processional Cross for The Chorister School, designed and made by Simon Pattison, will be dedicated.  The preacher will be Terry Waite CBE.

The Service of Thanksgiving begins at 2.00 p.m., and the congregation are asked to be seated by 1.45 p.m.

Please note: there is no parking in The College or at the Cathedral for this event.
